Academic Parent Night

Thursday evening brought together a number of Trevs defining points...formal, music and academia. It was Academic Parent Evening!

A number of second, third and fourth years were welcomed back to college for a formal dinner with the new students who will be studying their subject.

The dining hall was a buzz of excited conversation, as students shared their experiences about their time in Trevs, and the departments to which they were all connected.

High table welcomed guests of its own, fantastic scholars from around the world, Trevelyan visiting fellows. These individuals were welcomed to the most freindly College in Durham, and as honorary members of the Senior Common Room (SCR) during their time here. It is a pleasure to welcome them to such a fantastic community.

As formal drew to a close, it was time for the music to begin! The Big Little Band performed, and got the dance floor full in a matter of minutes!

Students dressed in fantastic outfits to fit the 60's vibe that filled the bar.

Then it was time for outrresident DJ to hit the decks. Welcome back Tim Fowler!

Tim kept the dance floor full with some fantastic swing music. Girls twirled around in their amazing dresses, and 'dance-offs' were had by many!

But it has to be said, without the amazing Freps led by this team of individuals, the night would not have been half as good as it was!
