Oxjam!

A couple of times each term the College's amazing tech team get to work in the bar, sorting microphones, lighting, amps and mixing desks, all preparing for one of the best evenings in Trevs. UNPLUGGED!

Charity is a huge asset of Trevs. For the past 3 years we have won the 2 charity shields; the most amount of money raised as a College, and the most amount of money raised per student. For one of the smallest Colleges, it has to be said, this is a HUGE achievement! And once you've scored the hat trick...the only way is up!

That's why Saturday's Unplugged was renamed 'Oxjam', raising money to aid the fantastic work of Oxfam!

This meant a collaboration between the JCR DUCK (Durham University Charities Kommittee) and Music Reps which culminated in a fantastic night of live music and money raising!

The theme was a festival style event, meaning patterned shirts, wellies and the odd straw hat!

The night featured both old and new faces, with lots of fresher acts signing up and showcasing their talent.

We had everything from jazz to rock to comedy, with every single act giving it everything in the name of charity.

The night also saw the ever lively Fire Action performing an improvised charity single, and the lucky audience witnessed the highly anticipated return of 4Q Barbershop, complete with garish trousers and straw boaters, after a year long hiatus.

All in all the night was a roaring success, with our brightly dressed 'duckling' bucket shakers collecting a total of £330 for Oxfam!
