The Students' Union was completely full as supporters ventured from across Durham in anticipation of who would be crowned this years winners!Trevs were taking on Wildcard One, a group of students from across many colleges who had been placed together after competing in a quiz held at the Union.

It has to be said, Trevs once again pulled out all the stops, and brought in a crowd of cheering and enthusiastic supporters...including one very special guest...
Trevor, of course!
We got off to a fantastic start, with Trevs winning the starter questions one after another.
Then suddenly Wildcard One sprung into action...it started to become quite tense.
Buzzers flashed at either end of the room, although it was still evident Trevs had brought the bigger crowd from the applause given every time they answered a question correctly.
Our status as 'The Friendly College' shone through once again, when an answer given by Wildcard One was dissallowed by the chair (Union President, Dan Slavin) as the answer differed from that on his notes. However, in true Trevs style, Holloway-Neville (Trevs) noted that the answer was in fact the same thing, and a point should be given to Wildcard One.
Finally, the questions ran out, and it was the end of the quiz. The whole room waiting in anticipation for the results...

WE HAD DONE IT AGAIN!
Trevs jumped up in joy, the audience went wild, and then the team quickly hurried across to shake hands with Wildcard One.
It was a fantasticlly tense final, but we did it once again!
Watch this space, you could be seeing these faces on the next BBC series of University Challenge!
