This time it was Trevs Night, an event set up in more recent years, but a fantastic one none the less! A chance for students to let their hair down and forget about the workload, just for one night!
The social chair started her planning months before Trevs Night was even a whisper amongst the College. A theme was thought up, a promotional video created, and suddenly teasers were released around College and on social media to let students know something big was on it's way!
This year the theme fitted the night perfectly. A Harry Potter themed Yule Ball, of course!
The evening started in true Potter style as students graced the dining hall in their gowns for a fantastic formal meal. With pumpkin soup to start, and treacle tart to finish, our witches and wizards really were ready for a fantastic night ahead!
And this was just the start...
Bertie Bott's every flavoured beans (or just a huge carousel of Jelly Beans to us muggles!) were available on the cobbles...
Fantastic bands graced the transformed dining hall after the meal ended...
Students worked their magic at the casino tables and others danced the night away in the bar.
But we must not forget the real stars of the Night (minus, of course the social chair, team and exec!)...
Hedwig and his friend paid us a visit!
