Après-ski...The Freshers' Bop!

College was transformed. Christmas trees graced the cobbles, standing in front of scenic paintings of chair lifts and snow covered mountains. Twinkling fairy lights illuminated excitable faces of the new Trevelyanites, and the sweet smell of a chocolate fountain drifted through the snowy scenery.

This could only mean one thing...IT WAS BOP NIGHT!

For months the Senior Freps have been deciding on a theme...and keeping it well under wraps! Speculation has drifted through the older years, but it was the big reveal in the Fresher's Handbook that let the college know we were celebrating the slopes, and cosying up in sweatshirts (at the end of a sunny September day, ironic really!)

Trevs never does things by halves, and last night was no exception. Inflatables sprung up within the dining hall, photo booths caught snippets of the action, live music blared through the bar, and the undercroft welcomed those looking for a quieter type of Après-ski action. There was something for everybody!

The weather man even ordered a spell of snow for the dining hall!

(Look at those smiles! A fantastic night had by all!)

Trevs artistic talent shone once again with handpainted creations spread throughout the college.

To quote Anne Allen (the admissions secretary), 'I thought it was christmas when I walked into College this morning'...I guess the Freps really did create a mesmirising Winter Wonderland!
